Year 1 have really enjoyed this week at forest school. They have been creating rockets using lots of natural materials! They also loved learning about fire safety and how we must sit in the respect position when in the fire circle. The children got to see how popcorn was made and they absolutely loved the sound of it all popping! Then they got to toast some marshmallows on the fire. Overall the Year 1 children have loved forest school and as a class we are very sad that it is over! (Not the muddy clothes though!) I would like to thank Miss Lord and the fun and creative lessons she has delivered in the outside classroom!
