Applications
We are happy with the high number of parents that choose our school.
Online applications are now the preferred method of making a preference for schools at the normal age of entry. Last year, over 80% of applications for high school places were made online. Parents who apply online are able to receive email notification of their school place on the national offer day, rather than through the post.
Shobnall Primary & Nursery School will be holding an open evening on Thursday 7 November 2024, 4.30pm – 6.00pm. If you are thinking of applying for a place for your child at our outstanding school, we would love to meet you! Our existing parents and carers are more than welcome to visit to see all the fantastic learning and creativity taking place.

In Year Applications
If you wish to apply for a school place during the school year an application can be found on Staffordshire County Council website here. This must be returned to your chosen school, who will respond in writing to your application within 15 school days.
Nursery Applications
Nursery applications will be administered by Shobnall Primary & Nursery School directly, not Staffordshire County Council.

Primary (& Middle) School Applications
Applications for primary (and middle) school places will be open from 1 November 2024 until 15 January 2025 and can be made online through the following page on the Staffordshire Web. Parents receive outcomes on National Offer Day, 16 April 2025. Please see links below for further information of our arrangements and for the application form.
Secondary & High School Applications
Applications for secondary and high school places can be made online through the following page on the Staffordshire Web up until 31 October 2024, using the UID number provided. Parents receive outcomes on National Offer Day, 3 March 2025.
