What a brilliant Forest School session Year 3 had today! Although it was extremely wet and muddy, the children enjoyed getting stuck into the Bronze Age activities. One group worked together as a team to create a fantastic Bronze Age roundhouse using wattle and daub. Another group learnt how to create a square lashing to hold sticks together, creating a frame. They then weaved wool and natural resources into the frame.
