Week 5

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, Miss Walton thinks she saw the tail end of the Easter Bunny hopping away from Forest School, leaving a trail of delicious looking chocolate eggs, which the children had great fun running around collecting! Just to make sure we found them all, we used some ten frames to record our findings!
The excitement didn’t stop there! We also noticed a great big clump of frogspawn in the pond and couldn’t wait to get a closer look! Some children were really brave and had a little feel of it when Mrs Farrington collected some to show us! We nearly stepped on two baby frogs hopping in the long grass, but Miss Walton helped to rescue them and placed them safely back near to the pond!
We had another lovely sing song to finish off our Forest School session. Although it won’t be the last time we visit, as we want to see how the tadpoles begin to grow and develop!
