2023 Year 2 Forest School Week 5

Year 2 have had another great week in Forest School. They have made paper houses that resembled wooden houses in 1666 when it was The Great Fure of London. We then placed them around the fire, and they were able to watch the fire spread from one paper house to the other. Just like in The great Fire of London. The children then roasted marshmallows over the fire to make gooey s’mores. The children also used jam jars and electric tea light to great lanterns. They filled them with orange and yellow leaves fallen from the trees to resemble fire. They have been placed around our tree with ribbon so other children that visit the forest school can see what we have done. Well done Year 2!
