17.4.24: Forest School Write Up
This week at Forest School was all about building! The Year 5 children were inspired by the ‘House of Wisdom’, from Early Islamic Civilisation, and used natural materials, as well as ropes and tarpaulins, to create some fantastic structures. Some children were on a mission to help Miss Martin-Mills create a safe and organised log store. This involved using the hacksaws to saw down the wood into manageable sizes, as well as moving HUGE logs from around Forest School, which involved a lot of teamwork!
