A partner academy in the John Taylor MAT

Nursery Forest School, 9 November 2017

What an autumnal morning it was at Forest School today!  Adventure Ted showed the children all of the falling leaves and they talked about why so many leaves were on the ground! The children were set some tasks:

  1. Find a green leaf. This was harder than we thought it would be!
  2. Find a leaf bigger than your green leaf!
  3. Find a soggy leaf.
  4. Find a crunchy leaf.
  5. Find a leaf which is different colour to all the leaves you have already found!

The children then used their leaves to make themselves a crown of leaves!  They looked fabulous!  After all their hard work, the children enjoyed sharing some healthy fruit, hot chocolate and a yummy biscuit!
