A partner academy in the John Taylor MAT

Nursery Forest School, 16 November 2017

Our Forest School session began with a game of Hide and Seek this morning.  This helped the children to venture far into the Forest School area together and we had lots of opportunities to count all the way up to thirty! The children found lots of hiding places but there was one thing that let them down during the game…giggling!  Their giggles made sure the seekers could find them wherever they chose to hide!

After this warm up game, the children collected natural materials from around the site to use in their artwork with Mrs. Lakin and Mrs. Curran.  The teachers helped the children to say the sound that their name begins with.  Then, they wrote the first letter of their names and collaged it with the natural materials that they found.  This super artwork is displayed down at the Forest School site…come down and have a look!
