We wrapped up warm for Forest School today as we knew it was going to be chilly! The wind nipped our noses and the cold crept into our wellies but still, the Nursery children had lots of fun down at Forest School! Today the children listened to Adventure Ted telling them all about the wildlife they might find in our Forest School area and also those animals that they are unlikely to find in the Forest School area but are common in Britain. The children learnt what ‘nocturnal’ means and used a display to name some nocturnal animals.
After exploring the muddy puddles in true Peppa Pig style, the children welcomed the warmth of their hot chocolate and biscuits, not forgetting the healthy fruit snack and sing-song!
