Forest School Session week 1
The children have had a fantastic first session of Forest School this week. We were all well wrapped up and prepared for the unpredictable British weather!
As our Science topic is Plants, we have been investigating the different types of plants in the area.
The children have been learning about the different parts of a plant and their functions
The children were put into groups and they had the challenge of creating a plant (including the different parts) out of twigs, sticks, leaves, stones and any other materials they could find.
The groups of children had to cooperate and work well as a team to be successful.
The children worked extremely hard and they all really enjoyed it. We are looking forward to the next session!
