Year 3 Forest School – Week 5
What a lovely afternoon for Forest School in the glorious sunshine! The children used fire strikers to light fairy blankets (cotton pads). Although this was tricky to begin with, it was great to see all pupils showing lots of determination to set their fairy blanket alight.
Some of the children continued to square lashing to create our emu feet. All of the children have successfully completed and enjoyed this knot skill. Others had fun building dens and making mud faces from natural materials!
