Forest School Week 6 Autumn Term 2020

Week 6 The children have really enjoyed this week because they were given the chance to clean out the pond. They pulled out the leaves with fishing nets and found two frogs! The frogs were clearly camouflaged with the leaves.

Forest School Week 5 Autumn Term 2020

Week 5 The children have loved today despite the rain. The children have been learning how to sheer lash using sticks and string. The children have enjoyed making Lowry artwork from charcoal and they have enjoyed creating Christmas wreaths from natural materials.

Forest School Week 3 Autumn Term 2020

Week 3 This week has been very creative! The children have made dens from natural materials and created a Roman pot from clay. The children have painted Mosaic patterns onto stones again this week which they have enjoyed. From the wood the children cut, they have made a Roman clock using nails and elastic bands.

Forest School Week 2 Autumn Term 2020

Week 2 The children have been using the bow saw to cut piece of wood. This has involved lots of team work which the children enjoyed. The children used natural stones from the Forest School area to paint into a Mosaic pattern. The children had to wash their stones before painting them.
