The children had a great start to their Forest School experience this week. They took part in a variety of activities linked to the story ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. They had fun creating giant faces using mud and natural materials on tree trunks as well as bark rubbings to decorate leaves which they then had fun pegging onto beanstalks. The children then had a go at planting their own magic beans- fingers crossed for some magic beanstalks! We also had some fantastic, creative nests that were filled with mud eggs! What a brilliant start to Receptions Forest School adventure! The children followed the rules brilliantly and in particular remembered to move around the fire circle correctly.
