What a fabulous Forest School session! We continued to use sheath knives to make Ancient Greek javelins, made dens and practised lighting ‘fairy blankets’ using fire strikers. Although this was great fun, our favourite part of the session was frying halloumi and pitta bread! Lots of us had never tried halloumi before and now absolutely love it! Yum! We finished in our usual way with a hot chocolate and a biscuit, before singing a song from our Treasure Island performance.
