A partner academy in the John Taylor MAT

Reception Forest School 24 June 2019

Week 5 Monday 24th June 2019

To begin our session this week, the children played a game of ‘Sticky fingers’.  We moved around as different underwater creatures then listened carefully to instructions and found a partner to stick together with.  It was great fun and generated lots of energy for our Forest School session.

Continuing with our underwater theme we made jelly fish using wood cookies with pipe cleaner legs, and created our own shoal of fish using all natural resources found around us.  Again, the torrential rain we had yesterday gave us plenty of mud with which to stick it all together with!

After our drink and snack the children learnt a new action song called ‘Seaweed Sam’ which was so catchy it was heard for the rest of the day!
