This week Year 2 were melting chocolate in a Dutch oven. The children loved melting the chocolate over the campfire and even had chance to wash it down with some hot chocolate! We also learned different camp fire songs to keep morale high during the windy afternoon! The children learnt all about the ‘fire triangle’. Finally, the children learnt how to safely put out and leave a campfire area.
