Wow! What a great first session at Forest School!
We began with a rope circle game where we were split into three groups and we had to stand inside the circle of rope with the circle getting smaller and smaller every few minutes. Next, in our groups we had to line ourselves up in order of our birthday January to December. Both of these activities really tested our team work skills.
We learnt how to safely use the billhook to create our own tic-tac-toe boards on small, thick logs. Whilst some of us were waiting to use the billhook, we collected our own natural materials to make and play ‘noughts and crosses’.
Our session finished with a cup of hot chocolate, a biscuit and a sing-song!
