To start our fourth session off, we played a game of Spiders and Flies, which is a little similar to ‘Stuck in the Mud’! We all enjoyed this game and had fun trying to catch the flies!
Moving on, we recapped our knowledge about fire and fire safety. We learnt about making charcoal and char cloth and found this very interesting. We can’t wait to use our own made charcoal and char cloth next week!
We had a range of fun activities to complete this week. We made our own World Cup medals on wood cookies this week which is very fitting with our Three Lions theme this term! Some of us continued to use our previously learned skill of tension knots to make our own dens, some continued with the work on the billhook and others calculated the age of trees.
To finish, we sang in round beautifully to the song, London’s Burning.
