The children had another brilliant Forest School this week. They continued to learn the skills of tying a Timber Hitch Knot and using secateurs to cut twigs and branches. The freshly cut twigs were then used by some children to create ‘solar system sticks’ in which they painted small dots onto them using cotton buds to show the different planets in space. The children took great enjoyment whilst using the mud kitchen to create a ‘breakfast for an alien’, as well as building dens using natural resources.
